vDOTS is a slippery critter. Just when it seems to be taking some recognizable form or making a little sense, it eludes you (and me). Psyche! Keeps you on your toes. Or me on my butt, typing and mouse-ing away, trying to make everything work. But it seems that vDOTS would profit from a sort of free-form site map that will enable us to find my way a little better (because I can't promise much more than that.) So, I'll add in links and directions as they come to me...
POE (Points of Entry) Search by Date News & Updates
POE
Until I come up with a better way to introduce new visitors, you might want to try on of these points of entry:
Black Friday - this is a rant/reflection on turning thirty, but (like everything else in here) it is pretty well tangled up in all sorts of other mumbo-jumbo so you'll need to wander along a path obscured in many places by the bushes and pick only the blue erries that seem to be ready for eating
Blog - well, I guess that an awful lot of vDOTS really falls into this category, but it may be helpful to try to access this strand with a sort of date linking system. OK that's in the mental to-do list. I'll keep you posted.

Search by Date
Note: So far the capability to easily navigate vDots by date has eluded me. I'm working on it though, and once I figure out how to do it, I'll update this page. For now, this slightly clumsy method is tolerable. If you have any clever ideas, please let me know. Thanks.
News & Updates
021011 Nav Update: Within vDOTS I have used two different sorts of arrows to facilitate navigation. I started out with <<< to move backward and >>> to move forward, but recently I switched to
to move backward and
to move forward. It'll probably change at some point and I'll have to update this, but for now, that should work.
021108 Nav Update: I've added a new navigational structure to vDOTS in an ongoing effort to make it more easily navigable. It's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction. EB, my web designer for the Margaux Project put me onto a java command that seems to have temporarily helped, though I must admit that each time I work through a section of this Java in Easy Steps book I am more confused! Anyway, the new look which takes effect on pages beginning today involves a three navigation buttons on the bottom of each page that look like this:

Hope you find these helpful. I promise to keep trying to develop a swifter and more agile method for schlepping through vDOTS.
