Bio

What is a "bio", anyway? It's short for a biographical sketch, a glimpse behind the mask. I'm not sure how much sketching I'll tackle here, but I will try to provide a couple of reference points. vDOTS (early on) or my blog (current) might actually be the best way to fill in the rest, but I admit they're not always Gospel truth...

Here's the skinny. Born almost four decades ago in NYC but living in other far-flung destinations like the Adirondacks; Santa Fe, New Mexico; Washington, DC; NW Massachusetts; Paris and Rome I am less a New Yorker than a lost-and-found bin, a pell-mell collection of places, people, influences. First and foremost a flâneur, I am also a writer (storyteller), a teacher, an entrepreneur, an adventurer, a traveler and a renovator of interesting old properties. Perhaps it goes without saying that I prefer morning to evening, springtime to autumn, texture to color, and experience to instruction. I am a collector, a curator, a recycler. For to flan, to teach, to enterprise, to travel, and--most of all--to tell stories, it helps to be all three. As to the other biographical details, they will undoubtedly reveal themselves in due course.
